A Conversation With...2025
Our “A Conversation With” series invites the community into a deeper dialogue about the forces that shape who gets to live where—and why. Through conversations with nationally recognized experts, we explore the local consequences of historic and ongoing injustice in housing and land use. We shine a light on how policy, power, and exclusion have shaped our region—and how Homestead Community Land Trust is working to heal those divides by creating a lasting legacy of affordability, equity, and community-rooted, collectively held land.
We believe civic strength begins with listening—and with learning from those most affected by change.
This series isn’t just about awareness—it’s about action. All proceeds directly support the creation of permanently affordable homes, the stewardship of land in trust, and community-led housing developments that reflect the vision and voices of those most impacted by displacement.
Together, we’re not just discussing what’s broken—we’re building what’s next.
